2015 National Standard Yearbook for Wooden Flooring

        On January 1, 2015, the strictest "New Environmental Protection Law" in history was officially implemented, marking the first major overhaul of the "Basic Law" in the environmental field in 25 years. The environmental protection law has made more targeted constraints on the market environment, which undoubtedly brings challenges to the environmental protection technology of flooring enterprises while regulating market order for manufacturing industries such as flooring;
        In July 2015, two "Made in Zhejiang" standards, "Solid Wood Flooring" and "Solid Wood Composite Flooring", jointly drafted by the Provincial Institute of Standardization, the Nanxun Testing Institute of the Provincial Wood Product Quality Inspection Center, the Nanxun District Flooring Association, and two local leading enterprises, were released and implemented; Two Zhejiang manufacturing standards have introduced flame retardant performance requirements. In addition, the two "Wood Flooring" Zhejiang manufacturing standards have also put forward stricter requirements for some indicators on the basis of previous national standards. The further improvement of standards will also play a certain regulatory role in the order of the flooring market in Zhejiang region;
        On September 18, 2015, the first district and county-level People's Mediation Committee for Home Furnishings and Building Materials in Beijing was established in Chaoyang District. In the future, economic and civil disputes such as contracts and infringements between home building materials enterprises and between home building materials enterprises and consumers, as well as disputes related to home building materials entrusted by grassroots people's courts, can be mediated through this mediation committee. The establishment of district and county level regulatory committees has also to some extent standardized the order of the home building materials market and played a positive role in the development of the industry;
        On October 20, 2015, the China Forestry Industry Association released the "China Forestry Industry Social Responsibility White Paper" in Beijing. 17 enterprises representing the advanced level of forestry industry development participated in the writing of this white paper, expressing their desire to become a benchmark for industry repeated responsibilities. It is reported that this is also the fourth time that the China Forestry Industry Association has released a corporate social responsibility report to the society, and the most participated enterprise. The release of this white paper has also had a positive impact on guiding enterprises to value integrity, advocating for enterprises to win the market and development with responsibility, and establishing a good brand image.
        Comment: The continuous improvement of industry standards reflects that the entire flooring market is gradually maturing. In this process, the gradually improving standards will not only purify the order of the flooring market, but also make stricter requirements for the development of enterprises.
